Renee Mangini, 44-year-old woman from Citrus County, Florida, has been accused of engaging in sex with a neighbor’s 15-year-old son. She faces one count of lewd and lascivious battery involving a minor.
In mid-May the boy, who was a regular visitor at Magnini’s home, told police that that he and Mangini had performed sex acts on each other and that they had had full sexual intercourse on two occasions on a couch in her livingroom. When Mrs. Magnini was interviewed by the investigators she first said no when asked about the alleged sexual relationship with the underage victim but later admitted that they did have sex, but only once. She said she would like to apologize to the boy and realized that she made a mistake and would take responsibility for it.
Mangini was arrested and booked into custody with bond set at $5,000.
