Brittni Colleps, 28-year-old Texas high school teacher and mother of three has been sentenced to five years behind bars after a jury found her guilty of having sex with five male students, four of whom she had group sex with while being videotaped.

Brittni Colleps, female sex offender
Colleps was convicted of 16 counts of having improper relationships with students. Since the young men were all 18 at the time, she was not charged with statutory rape. It took jurors less than an hour to find her guilty earlier in the day of 16 counts of having an inappropriate relationship between a student and teacher. The second-degree felony is punishable by two to 20 years in prison per count.

She was arrested in May 2011 after she allegedly held a party at her home last spring where she had group sex with at least four teenagers, all of whom were football players. Colleps is seen in a video recorded on a student’s cellphone having intercourse with at least two different students while the others were in the room.

On one occasion, Colleps modeled lingerie for three students, showed them sex toys and engaged them in a game of truth-or-dare before having group sex with the trio.

Two weeks later, on May 10, 2011, Colleps had group sex with four of the students

Two former students told jurors their relationships with Colleps began with the exchange of text messages that quickly turned sexual and a 19-year-old testified that he had gone to Colleps’ home twice with friends and they all engaged in sexual conduct. A former student who is now 20 testified that he engaged in group sex and recorded his last encounter on a cellphone. He said initially the students spoke of the importance of keeping their activities quiet because they didn’t want their teacher to get in trouble.

During the trial, the jury also saw hundreds of text messages—many of which were sexually explicit—- between Colleps and her students.

Colleps’ husband Christopher Colleps, who was serving in the military overseas at the time of the encounters, said that he was working to forgive his wife for what she did. Though the couple had engaged in legal group sex with other adults together, he felt wronged by her actions with her students, he said.

It's incredible to note that the convict is not only a high school teacher but, more surprisingly, a mother with three children.
