Rachel Ruth Schellenberg, 41-year-old womman from Tehachapi, California, has pleaded no contest to unlawful sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old boy.
Schellenberg will be on probation for five years once she's released, according to the Kern County Superior Court website. In exchange for her plea, charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a 14- or 15-year-old, and oral copulation with a person under 16 were dismissed, the website says. She agreed to the plea deal on Aug. 24.
Bear Valley police started its investigation last May after it got a report of lewd activity.
The judge also warned her to not associated with anyone under 18, with the exception of her children.
